Much larger than I envisioned! But that means small packages will fit without squishing the mail. I also love the locking section and feel more secure now. Great, sturdy mailbox. Looks fantastic. We now have by far the nicest mailbox on the street. It is pretty heavy (about 25lbs I believe) so make sure your post can handle it. Not a fan of the wood block for mounting. It will eventually rot. Would have liked to see a pvc product or similar. Exactly as expected. Strong, high quality mailbox that arrived quickly. Installation: Easy to attach to a mounting plate using the holes on the bottom of the exterior sides. It’s petty heavy, so be sure to attach to a strong post - I got the Gibraltar Landover post (which is actually hollow) and slid it over a 4x4 sunk 17” into the ground which is 30” above ground (so the 4x4 is a total of 47”). It looks great and was definitely worth the money to upgrade from the low-quality, dented mailbox that the prior owners had chosen. I got custom decals elsewhere to finish the look.. Marion. Nicely sized drop box. It's lightweight and easy to assemble. Feels fairly sturdy. Only downsides are the logo printed on the front and that the mail slot just blends in too well - mailman never notices it and always uses the parcel section.
