It's a great mailbox! Solid, tough and attractive! I added the Mail Boss Steel Post, it's a bit pricey but beautiful looking and heavy Guage steel that is powder coated! I put a 4 x 4 inside it for added length and strength! I used 2 bags of 50 lb cement, 2' into the ground, it is totally solid! This mailbox comes with the 4 bolts to mount the easy on slider base to the post but if placing on a wood post 4 x 4 just use some lag bolts, the base plate has numerous hole configurations! This mailbox slides right on the base plate, then put the 2 screws in the front and you're good to go! The 2 screws are totally inaccessible since they are inside the closed mailbox cover when locked. An fyi, I followed exactly the height instructions, but my mail person felt it was a bit low due to their new vehicles having higher window frames, so I added the height extension to make her happy! she loves it now!.
