The Ecco E6 is a stately Victorian-style aluminum mailbox, accentuated by classical motifs that are reminiscent of old-world charm and decorum. Ideal for traditional settings, the E6 features crisp and bold die-cast details with a door and a spring-loaded top insertion lid.

This mailbox is beautiful, and we've gotten many compliments already since installing it. Installation was easy. Just note that the mailbox is quite large — great for handling lots of mail, but be mindful of the space it requires. The only downside is the flap where you're supposed to deposit mail is very tough to push open. Our mail carrier ends up depositing mail through the larger door below (where you retrieve mail instead), which works fine, but it's a bit silly that the flap is so stiff. Also worth noting: the mailbox does not lock.. Brittany. New York, NY. Wed Sep 09 2026

This mailbox combines architecture and modern-day functionality. It features a historic design, a locking door, and an adjustable mail flap. Made of heavy-duty cast aluminum in lightweight construction, this elegant and secure mailbox is made for all seasons and will not rust.

Heavy, well constructed and added a nice touch to our sage colored siding. The lid is quite heavy and may not be for everyone especially if you have large wnvelopes to send or receive as they may get crushed. There are hooks under the mailbox however that can work as a substitute. Barbara. Rochester, NY. Tue May 05 2026

I'm going to go ahead and review even though we are not to the point in our new home build where we are ready to install the mailbox. We did unpack to make sure we have all the parts. We might be missing a "plate" to attach the actual box to the post. One set of instructions said we should have it and the other instruction didn't show it...weird. The holes, however, do match up with the box and post so I'm hoping with this style maybe the missing plate is nothing we need. Each piece seems very sturdy, and it is such an elegant look to it. I can't wait to install. It was pretty pricey, and that was what took me so long to finally purchase. UPDATE: after 3 years, I still love it, BUT a truck clipped it less than a year installed and broke the decorative scroll part off. Unfortunately it’s not made of material that can be welded back on so we had someone make a similar scroll with iron. AND after a couple years the paint completely bubbled and peeled off! See pics for reference. The numbers didn’t last through the first year— All but 1 fell off during the winter and then that summer became discolored. They are currently stuck on with gorilla tape..
