All metal drop box with a professional-looking paint job. Powder coated flat black, and I found it to be a very sturdy box. I made a form and mixed up some Quikset then mounted it to the slab. OMG I just received my new mailbox and it's even better looking in person than in the photos!! It's almost the same size as my old, ugly, brown mailbox. Yes it was a very expensive purchase and my husband thought I was crazy for spending so much on a mailbox, but it's seriously PERFECT!
