The Watoga 2-4 people traditional cedar steam sauna is assembled using a ball-and-socket profile, held in place by stainless steel bands and minimal fasteners. The significance of this configuration is that it maintains a reliable seal while allowing the lumber to expand and contract. The entire unit is mounted on two polymer support cradles that lift the undercarriage of the sauna to keep it from coming in direct contact with any moisture on the ground.

Really pleased with the value and easy set up of this sauna. It came with the IR lamp as advertised (despite another review to contrary). Heats up fast enough and seems hot but I'm waiting to receive a thermometer to confirm temp and humidity. Might be nice if it were a bit larger to stretch legs (I'm 6ft) but then it would be slower to warm up and maintain heat.. Scott. GA. Mon Aug 31 2026

This was a great buy. The instructions were very helpful, use the app as well. I am mechanically and electrically savvy and this took me 9 hours start to finish including electrical work. Update** Took about 90 minutes to put together! Works great. Heats up to about 140 degrees which is plenty hot! Love the 2 Bluetooth speakers too!! There was a pretty good size gouge in the box - probably due to fork lift - which left a pretty good size mark on the outside panel on the left side of the sauna. Not sure it will be noticeable once we put it together. Will update review after we put it together to see. Have not used this yet - looking forward to it though.. Lora. North Canton, OH. This Backyard Discovery outdoor sauna is built with superior materials and expert engineering for an unmatched experience every time you step inside.

Love it!!! I paid $1500 to a general contractor to assemble it, took 7 hours and I paid $3500 to an electrician to run 220V to the back yard which took 6 hours. Still more than half the cost of the lowest price given at a local store here in San Diego. Great quality, gets as hot as advertised in about 15 minutes, but San Diego is never cold, so starting temp is always around 70 degrees. Highly recommend, but line up assembly and electrical first, know what your getting into. Read the assembly instructions in the ad.. Scott. San Diego, CA. Thu Apr 23 2026

I love our sauna! I wish I would’ve made this purchase sooner. It was so simple to assemble my boyfriend couldn’t believe the ease and quality of everything. The way it was packaged was impressive. Everything arrived in perfect condition with no damage and the delivery team was efficient and friendly! I’ve been using it for a few days now and am already feeling the benefits. It heats up quickly and evenly when you’re ready to use it. I love the reading light and the option to change colors of the light because I’ve taken a book in with me every time. Highly recommend!!!.
