This is another one of those things that I loved when I saw it and then saw it again...and again. So I finally got it! So happy with it. It is absolutely perfect in the room I got it for. Do note that the lamp comes with plenty of cord and chain to hang it from a higher ceiling. I have a standard height ceiling in the room pictured and installed the lamp by using just the chain lock connector that came with the supplied chain. It worked beautifully, with the lamp not hanging too low in the room for my preference when installed this way. The metal finish on this is very nice as are all of the glass pieces. Installation was pretty straightforward, with the part that took the longest being attaching the glass pieces to the frame. UPDATE: Absolutely love the light! People that have come over to our new condo comment on it every time. It's sparkly and beautiful. The only slight negative is that the power cord is a bit wonky in appearance. It does get lost in the beauty of the light itself, but it's a curvy wire that is visible as compared to the fine wires of the hanging supports, which disappear and let the light look like it's hanging in the air. I think I have a fix for it. I am going to place the cord and the support wires in a gold tube. It's not a deal breaker in how much I love the light, but just something to know if you are a very fussy person like I am. I love this light! It has not been installed yet as we are in the building process, but I did open it and put it all together and checked the electrical for performance. All was good. It was a little tricky to find the right bulbs for this. DO NOT buy the ones they show as options as they are not even the right kind of bulb type for this light. They are small plug in LED lights. This product has a beautiful feather shade like a girl flying in the sky, warm light shining on her, warm and romantic. Thousands of duck feathers surround a white Pendant frame, a design that is a statement of humane practices and sustainable production. The feathers are procured responsibly, sanitized, and repurposed for the fixture, then attached to the paper structure on the inside. It is fire-resistant and easily maintained; you can clean and revitalize the feathers with a hairdryer. A CFL E26 bulb is recommended. The size of the shade is diameter and the max 40" height cord is adjustable.
