Absolutely thrilled with this purchase! The chandelier arrived well packaged and with clear installation instructions. Hubby and I were able to DIY the install, including adding a dimmer switch. Ordered the gold trim and it's perfect as the gold is a brushed look, not ultra-shiny, very upscale. Looks lovely when lit. We did switch light bulbs after starting with 60W clear bulbs, Bright White, that were just too bright when sitting at the table, even with use of the dimmer. Looks great, and decent structural quality, however the crystals are low quality. They have a lot of imperfections, rough cut edges, and blemishes. It’s clearly cheap glass and not real crystal. Also, there’s two perimeters of crystal, one around the inside and one around the outside. Naturally, they have different circumference which means the crystals will fall in and out of sync as you go around unless the spaces between them compensates for that. In this case, it doesn’t compensate and so practically that means that on one side of the chandelier the crystals will be aligned and the other side they will be misaligned. I chose this gorgeous LARGE chandelier for my new house. The reviews were solid, it is very pretty. It arrived to my residence undamaged and packed very well. I inventoried the pieces and assembly hardware - all there!! Look how big this really is as temporarily hung over my kitchen table. It's HUGE!! I just love this! I do have important advice for others when it comes to unpacking the chandelier and I've included photos as well: DO NOT just yank the chandelier arms out of the packing material because the arms are connected via wires to the round center fixture. If you yank them out you run a high risk of ruining this light before you even get it out of the box. Everything is tucked down well into the packing material, which I appreciate, but I think a note on top of these with this advice would be helpful (if the manufacturer is reading this review). The chandelier is beautiful and well made. The crystals are of high quality and were individually wrapped and nicely secured in styrofoam. The entire light was packed very securely in a double box.
