Timeless lighting. I’m loving the delicate linen fabric on the shade. Even though the drum was wrapped in plastic, there was a bit of glue from factory assembly, but I was able to peel it off. Something I couldn’t fix (and the reason for the 4 stars) is a small outward bend in the metal drum frame, noticeable from above. This changes the shape slightly, but not to the degree that it is noticeable when hung. Despite this small flaw, I really love this chandelier. An amazing light! I really like it, and it significantly enhances the dining room. The final look is beautiful and absolutely worth it. That said, there are a few important things to be aware of before purchasing: • Installation time: It took me about 4 hours to install on my own. The process involves wiring and assembling multiple individual chandelier pieces that come separately in the box. • Mounting difficulty: It is extremely difficult to align and secure the four screws when attaching the fixture to the mounting bracket. • Mounting bracket issue: My mounting bracket was not straight, and I had to contact Wayfair to receive replacement parts. • Bulbs not included: The light bulbs are not included, so make sure to pre-order dimmable E12 candelabra bulbs along with a dimmable switch. • Weight consideration: This fixture is quite heavy. Even if you have drywall, you must use proper heavy-duty drywall anchors or fasteners; otherwise, the fixture may not be securely supported. This 8 – Light Dimmable Lantern Square / Rectangular Chandelier looks great in my entryway. I like that you can hang it on a sloped or flat ceiling. The chain length can be adjusted from 47.2" to 78.7" in length. I was looking for those features for my house. Everything came fine, except one clip that holds a cross bar was cracked. (As shown in the pic) But luckily, I was able to put it on and the weight of the bar held it there. The light is an open geometrical design. The frame is a matt black metal and the inside is a brass frame with eight candle sockets. The look of candles is very nice on this light. It is so pretty with the bulbs in it. It spreads the light across the ceiling. You can choose a variety of bulbs for it, because they don’t come with it. They just have to be E-12 bulb compatible and a maximum of 60 W. There are some that look like flames, some like nightlight bulbs, round cylindrical bulbs, lights that are incandescent, CFL, and LED bulbs are also types you can use. If you have a dimmer switch, you can adjust the intensity of the bulbs. The body of the light is lightweight which made it easier for hanging. We had it installed but he said it was and easy install.
