This chandelier is a brass medal and it's a very lovely color. There are six lights that can either be pointed up or down which allows for various lighting effects. The artistic design of the leaves makes this lighting piece extra nice. Also, it came very well packed, but the packing material made a big mess in my kitchen so I suggest unpacking outside.. Very nice and just as described. Assembly was very time consuming and not the easiest when it comes to threading the wire up through the posts. We just got this light installed yesterday. It would have received 5 stars if it wasn't so difficult to put together. I'm attaching two photos. The first is the number of holes painted shut which wasn't as big of a deal as some of the threads for each individual spoke being encased in paint that had to be scraped off to get it to thread. It was an hour and a half of work to get it put together. At the end of putting the spokes in you'll need an extra set of hands to keep the weight of the fixture from bending the other spokes. It was a 2 star for me while trying to get every spoke screwed in through some troublesome paint layers. But then I saw it in the room and I am IN LOVE. It's gorgeous just hanging there but when the light is on, the fixture scatters it in a really beautiful way. I may edit my review to make it 5 stars when my hands aren't so sore from the assembly;).
