This chandelier is absolutely beautiful once installed and looks even better in person. It completely transformed our staircase and gives the space a much more modern, high-end look. The crystalsglobes reflect the light beautifully on the walls, and I love how the different hanging lengths fill the tall stairwell without making the area feel crowded. Installation itself was fairly straightforward, but because our staircase has a very high ceiling, we ultimately had to hire someone to install it. Our ladder simply wasn’t tall enough for us to safely reach the ceiling, so definitely consider your ceiling height and access before planning to DIY the installation. My only real complaint is the lighting controls. I don’t understand why a chandelier needs apps, remotes, and synchronization just to get all of the bulbs to display the same color temperature. I would much rather have a fixture where you select the color you want once and then simply use the wall switch to turn it on and off. At one point, some of our lights were warm white while others were cool white, which looked terrible. Thankfully, turning the chandelier off for about 30 seconds and then turning it back on synchronized them again. That issue is the only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 stars. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with it. It’s beautiful, dramatic without being overwhelming, and works especially well in a two-story staircase or other high-ceiling space. This is another one of those things that I loved when I saw it and then saw it again...and again. So I finally got it! So happy with it. It is absolutely perfect in the room I got it for. Do note that the lamp comes with plenty of cord and chain to hang it from a higher ceiling. I have a standard height ceiling in the room pictured and installed the lamp by using just the chain lock connector that came with the supplied chain. It worked beautifully, with the lamp not hanging too low in the room for my preference when installed this way. The metal finish on this is very nice as are all of the glass pieces. Installation was pretty straightforward, with the part that took the longest being attaching the glass pieces to the frame. This light fixture is really beautiful in person. It already looks impressive in the photos, but it gives the same beautiful effect once installed. Installation was not too difficult, and it took about 45 minutes to get it assembled and mounted. One thing I didn’t realize before purchasing is that the light bulbs are not included. I would definitely recommend buying the bulbs at the same time, or separately before installation. We ended up having to wait another week to fully finish the installation because we didn’t have the right bulbs yet. I also liked that it comes with enough hanging pieces so you can adjust the height based on your ceiling and preference. We only used about one and a half sections, but if you have higher ceilings, you can hang it lower or adjust it however you need. After waiting many years to replace my builder’s grade light fixture, I will say this was a great selection and I’m very pleased! We did get a professional to come hang it for us, but it did not take very long. The length was adjustable so I hung it at the same length that my previous light was. We are going to use 12 bulbs, but I did buy a dimmer to help with controlling the amount of light. It does come with a few extra crystals just in case you need them while trying to install.
