I ordered this chandelier for my dining room & thought it was lovely, but ended up returning it. The finish is definitely a silver tone; no gold hue whatsoever. While that's noted in the description, some of the pictures gave it a bit of an antique gold tone which is what I was going for. My husband didn't even pull the entire chandelier out of the box because we knew it wouldn't work. It's absolutely perfect! I am designing a moody gothic-inspired 1920s type dining room and this is ideal with the straight lines and down-facing "trim". It fits perfectly over my 54” square counter height table. It was easy to assemble with only 2 arms that need to be put on. All the wiring is done for you. Everything is wrapped and protected. The only thing is that the ground wire is copper and shows up a bit against the black chain, and it's very stiff, which made connecting it a bit challenging.
