I wasnt sure about these when I first opened the packages. The smell was so strong that I had to put them in the wash immediately (watch out for crazy amounts of fuzz from the chenille!). The pattern is also printed on, not embroidered, and I thought it might look tacky. They came out of the wash pretty wrinkled even though I took them out right away, and the instructions say not to iron. And after all that - I really love them! These curtains came out just right I thought there might be a gap at the bottom after hanging the rod above the window frame but they sit just perfect. Comparing the room darkening curtains to my blackout curtains and you can see the light permeates through. Not bad, but my blackout curtains you couldn’t tell if it was day or night outside but with the room darkening curtains you can see when it’s light outside. I have put photos to see the comparison.
