I am using each of the black velvet panels with another floral panel on my single windows. The black velvet drapes are very soft. They are medium weight and do block out the light. I ordered four panels of the Olivia Velvet Blackout Curtain in ecru (50" x 84"). One of the panels arrived with black streaks on it, as shown in the photo. I was able to position that panel in a corner to hide the black streaks, so I didn't send it back. Most of the wrinkles and folds came out when I used a fabric steamer on the curtains. The velvet is luxurious but they felt a little busy when I tried them out. These curtains could be beautiful in the right space. If you know what color you are getting then it won’t be disappointing. I love these curtains, although they are not as dark in color as I wish they were. I ironed them after they came and they looked beautiful when I hung them. These curtains are nice. The velvet fabric feels lovely. The creases came out after ten minutes in the dryer on low heat with a damp hand towel. My only complaint is that the side edges are shorter and lift up at the bottom, so they aren't consistently at the same length when hung. They are truly room darkening.
