I used the 96" length side to hang horizontally using wooden rings. Then i folded/pinned back several inches and hand sewed & steamed and I think looks great! I couldn't find many if any valances I liked for 60" window so had the idea to buy drape panel of pattern i liked and make my own! Didn't have to cut. I may in future change to a tie-up valance. Letting the extra material hang down and either getting nice ribbon for ties or make them out of the extra material in drape panel.. Anonymous. Chesterfield, MI. Fri Jul 03 2026
