I ordered 2 of these for my sons room. They are perfect. Easy to assemble. Only reason for the 4 stars is the ability to tip. This bookcase is proudly constructed in the USA from a combination of solid oak face frames, oak veneer plywood shelves, side tops and bottoms, and thick plywood backing. You can be sure this bookcase will last you throughout the years. No particle board can be found in this. As in most of our products, they ship fully assembled.

Sturdy. Nice design. Finish is not bad. Construction is square and true. A couple of issues: side vertical wood slats not sanded on all sides. In general, the level of finish is a bit rustic, to use a generous term. The hardware -- hinges, door latches -- is not of the quality that I'd expect for this price.
