Overall, the wall units look nice in our living room (we bought two). Each took my wife and I about two hours to assemble. Instructions were thorough, but you really need to be careful and double check every step. After we completed the assembly, we noticed that the part eight and nine (middle) shelves were installed upside down on one of the units. Also, the round stickers provided to cover the locking screws are very flimsy. They are just sticky paper that has very little surface area with which to adhere. We ended up using Elmer’s glue to keep them down. Other than the shelf inside the cabinet, none of the other shelves are adjustable. Also, I certainly would not place anything too heavy on the shelves (like lots of hardcover books) as they do not appear Capable of providing sufficient support without bending.. Tom. Bluffton, SC. I purchased this to add shelving to my closet and I added wallpaper to the back slats. The unit is of a decent quality for a decent price, the instructions were easy to follow, you will need a Phillips head () screwdriver and you will have a few extra screws hardware pieces- I would recommend using the wall anchors for added stability..
