I would have given this 5 stars because assembly instructions and supplied hardware were accurate and easy to follow. Nice details. Everything lined up and fit perfectly until the last piece-of course, which is the top. There is an unsightly gap that could not be closed. I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper. This is a cute bookshelf, it has kind of a cross between traditional and boho vibe. The backing was a little difficult to assemble and line up correctly, but it worked out eventually. Even though it is smaller it really does benifit from two people putting it together like it suggests, as all the connections are screw based rather than cam lock or other methods.
