I really like the look of this cabinet! I got it to house my purses. It fit perfectly into my entry closet, although I had to finish constructing it inside the closet, which was tricky. I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper. Bought this to extend my computer desk. Perfect match height for me! Pretty pleased with it. Seems sturdy enough. The instructions say the top level can hold 75lbs, the middle 25 lbs, and the bottom 25 lbs. The assembly took me about an hour. It's relatively simple - just requires your own philips head screwdriver and screwing screws into pre-drilled holes. But there is surprisingly a lot of screwing to it. But, it helps make it feel sturdy. All the pieces and parts were there and were well organized. So if you've built any simple furniture before this won't be too challenging. I purchased the 3-shelf size, 36" H X 48" wide. It holds my entire cookbook collection and does double duty as a divider between the foyer and kitchen/dining area. Beautiful, heavy wood in the mission style. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the backing. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile.
