I would have given this 5 stars because assembly instructions and supplied hardware were accurate and easy to follow. Nice details. Everything lined up and fit perfectly until the last piece-of course, which is the top. There is an unsightly gap that could not be closed. I really like the look of this cabinet! I got it to house my purses. It fit perfectly into my entry closet, although I had to finish constructing it inside the closet, which was tricky. This bookcase was perfect for my office setup. I purchased two of them in the gray color. Easy to assemble, easy to move around once assembled.  Usually MDF manufactured wood has a low quality feel to it but the individual pieces felt well made and the structure as a whole once assembled was sturdy as if it was a solid piece to begin with. The touch feeling is smooth, and it will be stain-resistant, just wipe with wet cloth could take good care of it.

I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper.
