I think this is better than the price. It super easy to put together (put on the 4 legs and that’s it) and super easy to extend. It is very small when closed (which is what I wanted). The extension works on metal slides which isn’t often seen on inexpensive tables. It looks great, too. As you can see, my eating book has been overtaken by a bog bed, dog food container, and dog water bowl so I needed something really small. I’m a fan!. Elizabeth. Wilmington, DE. Tue Aug 04 2026

Great table! It arrived in perfect condition. The legs are screw-in so they install quickly. I'm going to use my table as a desk as well as for meals, so I wanted a table with legs for extra stability, and I was surprised to find out it's difficult to find a 40-42" table with legs that doesn't look extremely basic. I chose this table for its mid-century look, and it looks just as good assembled as I’d hoped. It arrived in two well-packed boxes with everything included. There are quite a few parts, so assembly took some time and was a two-person job for my husband and me. The legs are solid wood, while the tabletop appears to have a laminated engineered-wood finish. I think that finish adds to the authentic mid-century feel. What I love most is how it expands in both directions. It works as a smaller table for four, and the photos I attached show it set up for eight, with two chairs fitting comfortably along each side if needed. The expanded shape feels more square and spacious than a traditional rectangular extension table. If you’re looking for that mid-century vibe and the flexibility to seat more guests, I recommend it!.
