This is not a paid promotion of this product like the other reviews so I will be 100 honest. The table has many design flaws and is a big disappointment. The table top is in 3 parts and things do not line up appropriately. It’s not clear which part of the table is not aligned so impossible to know what pieces need to be replaced. Either way, the end result is that there are large gaps between each of the slats that both look weird and are not functional as things on the table get caught and are unstable. Table was delivered today. Three weeks ahead of the estimated delivery, about 6 weeks after I ordered it. I paid extra for assembly and in-place delivery and I think it was worth the extra cost because the delivery guys were great and fast. Table doesn’t have any scratches or marks. I ordered the aurora color and it’s a bit darker than I’d hoped. I thought it would match my existing chairs more closely. The finish is so dark that the wood grain doesn’t show through. I don’t hate the finish, just not what I was expecting. Difficult to tell from pictures online. It appears to be a good, solid, well-made piece of furniture. I gave it 4 stars because the table is nice but deducted a star for not being able to tell the true color of the finish from the online photos. Update the aurora color table was just too dark so I returned it and ordered the flax color. Wayfair made the return easy because they had it picked up for a reasonable charge. Returning the original table cost me a bit of money but I’m happy with the flax color. The color is a bit lighter than the samples shown on the website. So far, Im in love. Our last table was so worn out and scratched from when the kids were little from normal wear and tear and all of their projects. Its nice to just start over. This table matched perfectly with our chairs and previous table height which is get main reason that I chose it. I wish it didnt have all the lines in it to trap food, it looks really nice but I'm sure it will be annoying when cleaning it. but the kids are older now too, so won't be quite the challenge it used to be. Shipping was fast and informative. The delivery drivers called 30 min before arrival and even placed the box nicely right inside the front door. Table was in perfect condition right out of the box and was super easy to put together. my husband was happy that the screws already had the washers put on them and had lock tight on them. Literally all he had to do was put 2 screws in each leg and then we tipped it upright and placed the table leaf into it.
