Beautiful table. The wood seems very solid and the table is fairly heavy when fully assembled with legs. The color and staining is perfect and we see no imperfections at all. The legs were very easy to put on as well. You will need a few people to turn it over when the legs are assembled. It’s a great minimalist simple rich looking table. For the most part this is a very study table and easy to assemble. I gave it four stars because the table was damaged upon delivery. First time purchasers from Wayfair here so didn't know what expect. After looking at the local furniture companies with their outrageous prices we decided to go this route. A recent remodel required a whole new dining set. We bought the chairs locally but needed a table exactly as this one. Great quality, weight, ease of assembly and received quickly. The finish, weight, stability and quality is better than anything I saw here locally. The finish is a high gloss white and locks securely when the leaf is not engaged. One note....the table in the 'closed' position is listed as 36x36, it is not; it's 36x50 then when opened is 36x72. Fine for my area since I had the space but others needing the 36x36 dimensions may be in for a surprise. My chairs arrive next week and can't wait to see how they match. This is a beautiful table. The only flaw with this table is the base. You cannot push the chairs in on the side so they stick out about 8 to 9 inches from the table. When buying this table, you do not see this. They did not show chairs around it. I do not like the way my chairs stick out. I like my chairs pushed in.
