Thoughtfully designed for guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, and other small animals, this enclosure combines comfort, visibility, and functionality in a modern wooden structure that blends seamlessly into any home interior. Featuring a durable natural wood frame and reinforced wire mesh panels, this cage ensures excellent airflow while maintaining a secure and predator-proof environment. The multi-level interior design provides separate activity zones for resting, feeding, and exploring, helping to promote healthier and more active pets. A convenient top-opening roof allows easy access for cleaning and interaction, while the side door offers additional entry for feeding and daily maintenance. The detachable table-leg design provides flexible placement options—use it as a raised habitat to improve visibility and hygiene or remove the legs for floor-level use.

This cage was a great deal for how much space it has (we got it for a hamster). There are some modifications we had to make while building it, though. If you look at the picture, the little side door (there is only one) opens to the main living area, which you can already reach through the top door. We decided that it would be much more useful on the other side, where it would open into the little "private room" so we swapped the two side panels. However, we lost the little rim that hold the "roof" on the private area (it just sits in there securely, it is not screwed in for accessibility to the animal I would guess), so we nailed in two smalls scrap strips of wood to hold the roof level. The pull-out tray was also gaping a little bit on one side and it made me nervous, so again we used two scraps of wood and nailed them under the tray to hold it up a little higher. None of these modifications were time consuming, but they made the cage much more usable for us. Having the side door open to the "private room" has made all the difference in being able to reach our hamster. You would otherwise have to reach your arm through the doorway blindly or take the "roof" off (and everything sitting up there) to reach in there. The "private room is very spacious for a little critter. We have two different hides in there with room to spare. I will also note that the side panels have a pre-drilled hole on the side panels themselves, but there are NOT corresponding drill holes in the front and back panels. The instructions say to just screw the screw in, but we immediately felt the wood splitting, so we stopped and used a small drill bit to pre-drill our holes. I also did the same thing for installing the hinges. In all, I could not have found a more spacious hamster habitat at this pricepoint (after my text 10% off it came to only $61!) It is also attractive enough to have in the main living area. It feels sturdy and we are very pleased. If you are willing to make a few minor modifications while building, it becomes even better. The ramp is pictured with more “crossbars” than it actually has, so I will either need to add more or maybe some carpet to help my hamster get up and down. We are also planning on putting some sort of edge on the upper level to make it safer so our hamster doesn’t accidentally fall off. I am including pictures of some of the modifications we made (tiny pieces of wood held by one small nail each, two to lift the tray up a little and two to hold the "roof" in place over the private area, one of which also stops the side door from swinging inward). Update: we have added carpet and a railing for accessibility/safety on the upper level. The carpet pieces are all just laid in place (not attached) so they can be removed for cleaning. The railing is just a spare piece of wood attached with two small nails on the bottom edge. Updated pictures attached.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 28 2026

Purchased for our small Holland Lop bunny. I'm happy with this for a temporary solution, however, I'm curious to see how it holds up over time. Assembly instrutions were clear and relatively easy but wish there would have been better markings for some of the screws. Would have been easier with a power screwdriver but doable. All-in-all it took my daughter and I about 1.5 hours to put together. I would say that for the price, this is a good short-term win.. Dan. Fort Myers, FL. Sun Oct 04 2026

Designed with a pull-out waste tray, lockable door, casters and lower storage shelf to simplify cleaning and maintenance. A practical solution for indoor pet housing.

4 stars because: The assembly of the hamster cage was ok, but instructions were not very clear. Also, there was a sticky sap kind of substance on every piece and scraping that off of the plexiglass and wood to even begin assembling took about 45 minutes. However, it is very nice looking and seems sturdy.. Susan. Smiths Station, AL. Wed Oct 14 2026

Pretty good. Holes are predrilled but only on outer edges. Be careful when screwing together because it can split very easily. Roof doesn’t align great with the predrilled holes for the pegs but you can make it work. Over all so far it’s nice. Will know more when I go to use it.. Anonymous. Mon Mar 02 2026

This rabbit hutch is two floor designed to the better living condition for bunnies. There is a ramp connect the upper floor and lower floor. Safeguard lock & rain resistant open roof with a more robust metal hinge for more extended usage. Keep the guinea pig safe and away from predators. Give your pet a warm home.

This hutch has been great for our 4 guinea pigs, they have plenty of room and the unscreened doors offer them a area that helps them feel safe and secure. The included instructions to put the hutch together arent the best but its pretty easy to figure out what piece goes where. The ramps inside of the hutch could pose an issue for some critters because it is a pretty steep incline that you may need to add something extra like peel and stick sand paper or small pieces of wood to offer your critters something they can get traction on. The hutch does have a strong odor in the beginning but it does dissipate over time. The interior is easy to wipe down and clean and the removable drawer floors on both levels make it easy to just pull out the drawer and dump in a trash bag. Bedding can be added to the inside and not much makes it through the screens onto the floor.. Elizabeth. Glen Burnie, MD. Tue Sep 15 2026
