It's a nice, sturdy cage and goes together fairly easily as long as you pay careful attention to the directions. Because of the various locations of doors and half-panels, it needs to be assembled and used in the right orientation, which means it's not the most flexible regarding use. If you're using it outdoors or in a large space, especially as pictured with an attached coop or run, it's perfect. For my head-tilt rabbit who doesn't escape from open cages as long as there's a short barrier, it provided excellent access for feeding and petting and I didn't need an attached cage. Pretty good. Holes are predrilled but only on outer edges. Be careful when screwing together because it can split very easily. Directions were easy to follow and I didn’t end up missing anything so the frustration level was nice and low. The lights are our favorite touch. We can see them any time we want but they have a nice dark hideout just in case they need it. I don’t think the access to the hideout is a big deal. If you absolutely need to grab one you can pull out the tray some. Our piggies loved their new home and I also love the peace of mind it gives me knowing they aren’t in a wire cage anymore where my dogs could accidentally get too rough and break them out lol I definitely would recommend this cage. I purchased the two story rabbit hutch for my three Dutch rabbits. I really like the way that I can make it two separate habitats or one large two story home. Both levels have slide out trays that make it easy to clean. I really like the height of each level which allows my rabbits room to hop.
