I needed to upgrade our bunny's hutch and decided to go with this one. Upon opening the box, it had a strong smell that eventually gave me a headache, though this seems to be the case with previous ones from different stores. Right away, I took the roof outside and hosed it down to get rid of most of the loose shingles as they can create quite a mess, since I bought this for indoor use. I do like that the pieces are clearly labeled with a stamp instead of a sticker. However, the instructions could be better, as some parts were unclear and I had to redo them. I also found some of the construction a bit odd, like the spacing for one of the walls. Additionally, I don't like that there isn't a separation like a wire mesh to keep the bunny out of its litter, and I found it odd that the brakes were in the rear instead of the front—though maybe if I just turn the wheels a certain way, it won't be an issue. Pretty good. Holes are predrilled but only on outer edges. Be careful when screwing together because it can split very easily. This rabbit cage is made of natural fir-wood for durability. There are three plastic oversized trays on the bottom of the rabbit hutch, you can pull them out from the front and back for easy cleaning of the cage.
