I rescued some baby squirrels that had lost their mother and it was perfect for them until they were old enough to set free. They now live happily in my parents back yard where they have lots of trees and two small ponds. My parents put food out for them to make sure they are eating well and they come to visit whenever my parents out in the yard. They are still wold and don't get too close which is exactly what my parents intended. This is not the first time they have rescued small wild animals and eventually were able to be set free into the wild.. Robert. Oregon. Mon Aug 24 2026

A cozy, house-style indoor space and spacious front courtyard area offers plenty of room for them to hoop around. An internal ramp provides quick access between two floor. Lockable door provides easy access for cleaning and routine tasks.

Overall a good purchase but requires some work to make it safe and durable. First- this NOT appropriate housing for a rabbit as their full time home. Domestic rabbits should never live outdoors- as cute as this hutch is, it will not protect your rabbit from insects, disease, predators, hot/cold temperatures, or rain and snow. I purchased this as a space for my bun who loves spending time outdoors where she can safely hang out at appropriate times and for that it's perfect. There is some opportunity for buns to chew but the key areas are metal, including the frame and fencing making it quite durable. The size is good as a part time home even for my 12lb rabbit but it will be tight if her husbun joins her in the interior part. The wood seemed very soft and flimsy, with no protection against rain and snow so I painted all exterior wood. There is also no floor so rabbits and predators could dig under it. I buried chicken wire a few inches under the whole hutch and zip tied it to the frame. The assembly of the hutch was quite easy but those added elements were very time consuming.. Kaitlin. Cute for ONE rabbit or two dwarfs like mine INDOORS ONLY. My buns gets lots of time to run around the house and intern have the whole day out of their cage. It took my cautious rabbit one whole day to go up the ramp, but this AM I saw him sleeping up there with his wifey. They have their X pen connected to help them get used to it. Think of this hutch as a really cute doll house for your rabbit, that is not meant to go outside. The construction is well made, but it came with 3-4 slightly damaged areas due this being soft wood and being made in China probably. It smells really good too. Like cedar. I will update my review later if my buns start chewing their new home as other reviewers said. Something to note is that the unit really isn't that tall on each level, and the internal dimension of the first "floor" is 19" deep X 32" wide. My buns are potty trained so I can just manage to keep their hay:litter box on the first level under the ramp and then their veggie, pellet, and water bowls are on the other side. Then upstairs I put a cozy fleece blanket down where they pull out tray is. Overall, I would only give this hutch 3 stars due to it being not big enough and being made out of cheaper woods, but it is SO DARN cute and my buns like to sleep in it hence the 4 stars.. Bree. The TRIXIE Single Rabbit Hutch is ideal for outdoor use. Solid wood construction, finest materials, and glazed wood finish mean this attractive hutch will endure years of service with little maintenance. The 2-Story design allows your pet to roam inside and outside, upstairs and downstairs, in the sun or shade, for ideal comfort. However, the non-slip ramp and interior hatch door allow the owner to restrict access as needed. The durable, powder-coated metal lattice and lockable hatch will help keep your pet safe while keeping out unwanted visitors. The hinged roof has a special weatherproof coating. It can be completely opened from the top for additional accessibility, and the plastic pull-out tray allows for easy maintenance. 2 front doors also make helping your pet in and out of the hutch far simpler. The wood panel at the back offers additional protection from the elements. Suitable for small animals such as Rabbits or Guinea Pigs. Accessories are not included.

Great hutch! Easy to clean, and move around, if needed. We keep our furry friends indoors, so I can't comment on outdoor use. However, our 2 year old holland lop loves his home.. Mae. Philly, PA. Sun Mar 18 2018

My buns love their hutch. It’s held up quite well except my bunnies chew the wood a little (bad bunnies lol). The only negative thing I can say is the latch in the middle has to be set just right or one door can come open. Which it has a couple times. It could use two latches (one on each side). The roof is great and well made.. Rebecca. Franklin Furnace, OH. Mon May 04 2020

This rabbit hutch boasts excellent ventilation with three doors and metal mesh throughout. Cleaning is easy with two pull-out trays and a roof that can be opened for additional access. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the hutch has a rainproof roof and elevated living quarters with a ramp and door. The adorable cottage-style design, complete with a flowered balcony, fits well with any home decor. The living area features a mesh door for excellent air circulation, while the lifted bottom prevents immersion in water. Overall, this stylish and functional hutch provides a comfortable and attractive living space for your furry friends.

Adorable durable for chewing bunny! Includes a ramp, an opening roof, 3 doors, 2 removable trays, and a secure window ledge your pet can’t get to for optional plants or decor. It’s so cute I’ve allowed it in my living room. This is perfect would buy again!. Christina. Peoria, IL. Sat Nov 29 2025
