This ceiling fan is fabulous!! It has the hammered bronze tone & a rustic/industrial look which is what I was looking for! It took my husband less than an hour to install on his own in a room with a 10 ft ceiling. The light is pretty bright but not too bright for a bedroom. The air flow from the fan blades is awesome which is nice because that room gets very warm in the summer due to lack of air flow from the central air conditioner. I LOVE IT!! The reviews I read prior to purchasing this fan were very helpful and so positive I knew it was the perfect ceiling fan for this room.

I installed two of the 84" Xtreme H2O fans under a covered outdoor pergola. They help dissipate smoke and keep the insects away in the summer. They work flawlessly with the exception of the remote controls. We installed two fans and used only one remote so both fans would operate on the same frequency. This works well only 70% of the time but once in a while one fan will get a command to turn on the light or stop and the other fan will not. And since the on/off for the light at least is a toggle type command you then are left in state where pressing the button from that point forward only turns one off and the other on until you do it often enough to get out of that loop. The fans are right next to one another so it is not a distance thing. I am going to need to remove the power from one and set it up to use a separate frequency and a different remote. I have not tried this but I understand it is possible.

Love this fan. Installation was a breeze for my electrician. Had to change from using a FAN type Lutron dimmer to a plain neutral-wire switch as speed is controlled from the fan itself via the included remote control. This things is 99% dead silent. No background hum (if wired up with a neutral wire), and the motor itself is inaudible on speed 1 unless you put your ear next to it. Absolutely no issues sleeping with it on - lowest fan speed generates just the right 'light breeze' to keep air moving in a 15'x20' bedroom. Plastic fan blades don't look too plasticky, although you wouldn't likely confuse them for metal due to the slightly satiny matte finish.

This is a great fan that we installed on the front porch of a neighbor’s house. It looks great and works fine. I am not 100 convinced about the radio remote system. My neighbor (she is 82) complains from time to time that the fan just starts running in the middle of the night. She also complains that the rubber buttons on the wall mounted control box are hard to operate and she is never sure which button is pushed or sometimes the buttons get stuck. Hence we bought her the handheld remote. Maybe it is user error or maybe too many systems in the neighborhood operate on the same radio control frequency. Why only 4 Stars Unfortunately, the first one made a terrible noise but Wayfair support was very quick to send a replacement unit our way. It still was a pain to take it off again and install the new unit- so I hope the manufacturer got hit with the cost of sending stuff forwards and backwards because the unit failed out of the box.

This is a wonderful ceiling fan! It works beautifully and doesn’t make any noise. I love the simple design. I purchased a smaller one for our bedroom and it looks great. This one is a little larger and we put it on the ceiling of our back porch. It’s perfect! Don’t be afraid of the modern style because it actually is perfect for any decoration. It’s just cools everything down without stealing the show and bringing unwanted attention to a ceiling fan. Strength in simplicity! It’s beautiful!

I ordered the white color for an outdoor covered patio. It was very easy to install. And I as really impressed with its look and feel. The one large disappointment is that the highest speed is not high at all. I'm shocked that, on the highest speed, it is no faster than any other ceiling fan's medium speed. And because I live in Florida in swelteringheat ...and humidity, I really would have liked way more air flow. I simply didn't want to uninstall it. Just be aware if you are looking for a big air mixer. This is not what you should get.

I have two bronze fans in the bedrooms that are occupied as well as a silver in the living room. All have the optional LED light. The blades are plastic. Thick, well made plastic. I don’t have an issue due to quality of materials used. I did have an issue getting the receiver in because I didn’t see in the instructions how things were to go together. After me making a call and help from Minka Aire, I was back at it and they all went up pretty quickly. How to place the receiver was in their directions, I just missed it. I had gotten another popular brand fan for the dining room. The wiring was a nightmare. The Simple makes it very easy as all you have to do is plug the appropriate connectors together. These fans move a LOT of air. The DC motors are very efficient and if you’re looking for a visually low-impact, clean appearing fan that moves air, for the price (compared to other dc driven fans) along with the quality of the product, you’d be hard pressed to do better than this fan.

This was our second outdoor fan. Our first fan did not survive a wind storm and all blades ended up in our neighbor's yard. I bought this fan hoping the blade to housing connection was more secure. I was right! We had two tornados touch down last month and my house was right between them. The deck furniture and grill got tossed around, a heavy metal dining table got lifted and blown into a neighbor's tree. Our poor ceiling fan ended up tilted severely, but miraculously, all three blades were still intact! the next day we pulled the fan back into position, tightened all the blades, which had become loose, and adjusted the wiring which had become kinked. We turned on using the handy remote, and it worked!!! Amazing! I am sitting on my deck in "feels like" 106 degree heat, with the fan on, and it's providing enough breeze to make it tolerable. The fan also helps keep bugs away in the evenings when it's calm outside. I highly recommend this fan, especially for those worried about rain and wind storms! This thing is durable!

My husband and I wanted a fan for our great room. We had an idea of what we wanted so we decided to make our first stop at Lamps Plus. We had purchased another fan for our bedroom two years prior. We walked in and were greeted by one of the sales associates. He showed as several pictures judging by our ideas for the room. One of the pictures was a brushed nickel and then he showed us the Minka. With the decor we already have in our great room the Minka was a perfect fit. The amount of air output is incredible. One of the best purchases we have made so far. The quality through Lamps Plus is exceptional!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Originally, we were going to use this fan in our home office. We currently have some high-end elan fixtures, which is a division of Kichler. This fan was suited to be a perfect and elegant compliment to the chrome teardrop lights that we absolutely love. Once the fan arrived though, we noticed that it is labeled as suitable for wet locations. At that point, we knew that we had to use this in our pool area. We have a pole barn with a nice overhang that covers a hot tub and is adjacent to our pool. In the summer, the still air can really keep this area too warm to use. With a ceiling fan, it will help regulate the still air and keep this area more useful. Another reason we felt this fan belonged near our barn is its forward-looking design. One of the hottest trends in antique stores and flea markets is old airplane props. For whatever reason, the fan gives the impression of a vintage airplane prop with a twist towards the future. It's very cool and matches our retro-trendy style. Even though the area was not equipped for a ceiling fan before, it did have an existing light fixture. Because the housing to the light fixture is aluminum and the siding on the overhang is aluminum, it was easy to install this fan. Anyone who has installed a fan before would have no trouble. For someone who has not installed a fan from scratch, I believe the task would be achievable with a little bit of reading and some patience. One cool thing about this fan is that it can be used with or without the light. We chose to use both. We leave the LED light on all the time for security and as a nightlight for those evening hot tub dips. I would buy this fan again without thinking twice. The value is much better than builder's grade product, especially considering the smooth appearance.

Love the fan! Colors are perfect for what we needed. The washed grey color is not too grey, and has a very slight tan undertone - just enough not to look too grey/silver. More of a driftwood grey. Happy that the other side of the fan blade is a dark espresso brown as that’s the colors of our floors and if we ever choose to change the accent colors of our furniture and decor, these will be perfect to go with what we have. The light itself is not that bright, but doesn’t warrant me to drop down the rating from a 5 to a 4 star....it’s also encased in a more modern style glass fixture which we wanted. The pictures online show exactly what we received so if you are drawn to the photos, you’ll love what you get. It’s flush mount which is nice. It’s quiet and when sitting near or under it, you definitely feel the air movement. It has a couple speeds to choose from and can be changed with a remote control. Definitely enjoying this fan. Don’t regret the purchase at all. Again, if you are drawn to the photos of the fan, go with your gut and get it. We did and are satisfied with our choice!

I bought two of these fans to replace the ones on my front porch. The ceiling height is only 7 feet and these fans were certainly low profile so as to meet my needs. They were easy to install and generate an excellent breeze on these warm summer afternoon and evenings when we like to sit on the porch. I particularly like the material used for the blades as they will last forever without warping or discoloring. Everything I expected in these fans when I ordered them.

I recently got this fan about a week ago and I just love it so much. I have always liked the design of an Original, it never goes out of date. It's very quiet, moves a ton of air and you can just feel the quality built in the fan. I love that the blade arms are now cast iron to match the motor housing material. I also just really like this new motor tag. When I saw photos of this fan I wasn't too intrigued with the blade color but let me tell you that it looks better in person. I still think the light gray oak side is the worse of the two, only because I feel like the blades should give contrast to the fan. But over all I love this fan, I love how modular it can be and I just love how robust and high quality it feels. If you are thinking abut buying this fan or any Hunter Original, I encourage you to do it. It will last you a life time and you wont be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fan. This sucker is big, and it can move some air! You can really feel the air draft from this thing while it ON and it super quite. Assembling/Installing fan was easy, but the wiring part was a bit confusing to me because I have a 2 switch setup (1 to turn ON/OFF Fan and 1 to turn ON/OFF Fan Light). In the manual, it clear tells you how to wire it at the fan junction box, but I couldn’t find clear instruction on how to wire it up at the switch junction box. It is because you have to wire up their included special design wall switch. Their single wall switch was design to do multiple things in a single switch. It can turn ON/OFF fan, increase/decrease fan speed, turn ON/OFF fan light, & also dim/brighten fan light. I took an educated guess on how it I thought it was supposed to be wired and I lucky enough to get it right. I force to disable / remove 1 switch from the 2-gang switch box, which made it look weird (Imaged attached). Not sure if you can even use it with a regular toggle wall switch but if you have a 1 switch setup, you are golden. One other thing I notice/dislike was that the include switch wall was not the same color white as the wall plate. Beside the issue with the included wall switch, it functions as expected and the fan itself is beautiful.

We found that we enjoyed speding time out on the back deck, but would have to carry out a stand up fan to keep cool on those hot nights. We added to our to do list to put up a fan that can be used outdoors. We finally got around to installing a fan this past weekend and went with the Cassius outdoor ceiling fan. We settled on this fan after doing a lot of researching and comparing it with other outdoor fans. We liked this particular fan as it was damp rated and able to withstand moisture and humidity being left outside all year. We live in New England where the weather is always unpredictable. We usually have a wet or damp spring and Winter, and this is one reason I think we hesitated all these years to put a fan outside, as we didn't want to have to replace it after the first winter. But, after installing this fan, in under an hr. this weekend, I can see why so many people gave this outdoor fan 5 stars and raved about it. It is well made, and fits perfectly in our covered patio sitting area. While it is cooling off, it was still warm this weekend, so we got to put the Cassius outdoor ceiling fan to the test, and it really does a great job at keeping you cool as you sit under it. I am so happy we finally got around to installing an outdoor ceiling fan, and love how well made our Cassius fan is. If you are looking for an outdoor ceiling fan to add to your porch or covered patio, I highly recommend this one from Cassius.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be one of the nicest looking outdoor fans I have seen. I installed this on our back patio and feel it looks absolutely stunning. I have 4 indoor hunter fans and have installed 50+ ceiling fans over the years and would say this was a medium level install. Not a 10-minute job but also not an all-day job. I was able to install in 40 minutes myself. Would have been much faster but did struggle more than I should have had to with the wiring harness. Does seem well made like other hunter fans but will say the cage and blades are plastic. However, being an outside fan, this is probably preferred. When installed it is elegant looking and you can’t tell its plastic. Light could be brighter, but wife likes the amount of light it emits. There is no light cover – only the cage. I actually prefer this being an outdoor fan and like the fact I won’t have to constantly being cleaning bugs out of a light cover. Surprisingly this is quieter than several of my indoor fans and produces a good amount of air. Overall, I am very happy with the look and functionality of this outdoor fan.

Love the way it looks, it's super quiet even when on high, and installation was pretty straightforward. However, right from the beginning we had issues with the lights on all three of the fans we purchased (2 same model, 1 different). The light and fan would randomly shut off and back on as if someone flicked the switch off and on quickly. This only happened when the light was on in addition to the fan. We reached out to Hunter directly to see if they had any suggestions (as Google wasn't helpful) and they promptly sent us three new receivers to replace the ones that came with the fans. Upon replacing the receivers we haven't had any issues with the lights. They didn't actually tell us what the issue was, but the fans work as they should so as long as that doesn't change we're very happy with them.

Its sure a pretty fan! I choose it mostly bc of the color which goes so well with my design in my daughters room. Of course I am also relying on other buyers reviews and based my decision on that. I was a bit worried about it not having a remote control, but now thinking back, its better to have a wall switch bc kids loose everything. The only thing that could have been better , to include a wall plate ! Mine don't fit so I have to go out and buy one. However it is mentioned in the instructions that a wall plate is not included. The install was easy enough if u know about ceiling fan installs, they are all kind of similar . The only tedious shore was using the wobble weight stickers. Which took a while to adjust but the entire process is well explained in the manual. Glad we had 2 people to do that together bc it takes an effort getting up and down the ladder to adjust the weight on each of the 6 blades... Anyway I am overall very happy with this ceiling fan, style, quality and installation process. Another thing is weird because the 1-2-3 speeds are almost the same, not much difference I noticed....

This is the best ceiling fan I have ever own! It keeps the whole den cool during the scorching heat outside allowing me to not have to keep the central air on so low ergo saving money on electricity. It is so sleek and elegant. I had to add a medallion as the hole in the ceiling was too large from the previous fan. I am thrilled at the great deal I got on the cost of the fan.
