We found it very difficult to find wet rated ceiling fans for our outdoor location. This option from wayfair is made with materials that the humid conditions at our house don’t seem to have any impact on it. The fan is of nice quality and seems to work well. Excellent value for the price. I ordered three of these fans and put two in downstairs living areas and one in an upstairs bedroom that tends to be warm. They made an immediate difference in reducing the room temperature by three degrees. I mounted the remote controls on the walls next to the switches for each. Remotes are cool because they have speeds 1-6 and the ability to reverse the direction. There’s also a setting that will have the fan come on from time to time to circulate the air and a timer button to have it run for 2, 4 or 6 hours. I will be ordering more of these and highly recommend them! Do note that this particular model does not have light fixtures, which is what I wanted but an important thing to keep in mind.. Katie.
