We found it very difficult to find wet rated ceiling fans for our outdoor location. This option from wayfair is made with materials that the humid conditions at our house don’t seem to have any impact on it. The fan is of nice quality and seems to work well. It was not very difficult to install on our back porch the height and space we had was restricted so we had to modify the drop down tube by cutting it off and redrilling the bolt holes.
