Excellent value for the price. I ordered three of these fans and put two in downstairs living areas and one in an upstairs bedroom that tends to be warm. They made an immediate difference in reducing the room temperature by three degrees. I mounted the remote controls on the walls next to the switches for each. Remotes are cool because they have speeds 1-6 and the ability to reverse the direction. There’s also a setting that will have the fan come on from time to time to circulate the air and a timer button to have it run for 2, 4 or 6 hours. I will be ordering more of these and highly recommend them! Do note that this particular model does not have light fixtures, which is what I wanted but an important thing to keep in mind.. Katie. Overall I recommend this fan. The fan was packaged very well and thoughtfully designed to make assembly straightforward. The instructions were easy to follow. They did not have a diagram for 2 switch control, but it still works well with 2 switches. The fan is silent in the medium and low speeds and moves a good bit of air. The light might not be adequate as the sole light in a bedroom, but works well as an added light in my living room. Adjusting light temp and brightness is easy and the fan memorizes the chosen setting. My only complaint is that the shaft that the light segment mounts to is crooked and off center on my unit. I used washers as shims to address the crookedness, but the off center remains. I’m the only person who would notice though.
