I haven’t installed this yet, but I believe this is going to be a handy patio fan. I like the fact that it plugs in so it can be moved whenever necessary, and the blades are plastic so hopefully humidity and such will not affect the integrity. It was easy to put together (took less than 20 minutes), but I would like to note that the blades read “this side up” but should be flipped while installing since you install them on the bottom… I had completely assembled the fan before I even noticed, so I hope that helps. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. I really liked the thought of using this product. I was not able to use it due to fear of damage of my house if used because of possible high winds and fan being too close to edges. It says it is resistant, but do not know if rod will move too much during wind events causing damage. Description was not clear enough to know. Otherwise, it was the best option I found.
