This fan is so quiet, you wouldn’t know it was running- if not for the wind! It is a true 6 speed fan, not just 3 speeds in two directions, which I’ve seen advertised in other fans. The amount of wind is quite impressive, that rarely do I set it above 3 anyhow. Installation was really quite simple, and not as complicated as the many pieces would have you assume. This is a beautiful ceiling fan for my living room! I decided to change out the fan from a white one to black. It is very attractive and has great fan speeds. The LED light is integrated and gives off a warm glow. If you are looking for something brighter, you might want a different light that gives off more than 3000k, but for us I'm sure it will work. It takes about an hour to install, but make sure that you buy your downrod ahead of time. We needed a 36 inch rod, with a matt black finish. Overall, I am happy with this product.. Linda.
