There's a moment, when the conical lid lifts and the steam escapes, that a kitchen becomes a Mediterranean home. This authentic tagine pot is handmade in Tunisia by Fair Trade artisans using techniques passed down through generations — hand-thrown from 100% European fire clay, hand-glazed, and hand-painted so that no two are ever alike. The iconic cone circulates steam to self-baste your food, coaxing stews, braises, and couscous into deep, tender flavor with almost no added fat. Lead-free, non-stick, and oven-safe to 650°F, it travels from flame to table, where the vibrant Bohemian pattern does the talking. Loved by thousands of home cooks — and unlike mass-produced cookware, every purchase supports artisan families in Tunisia. Medium (3.1 Qt) serves 2–4; Large (5.5 Qt) serves 4–6. Blue, Red, or Turquoise.

I recently made a Moroccan lamb tagine, and it was absolutely delicious! This tagine is such a beautiful and functional piece of cookware, and it made the whole cooking experience enjoyable and authentic. The design of the tagine allowed the ingredients to cook evenly and slowly, resulting in tender lamb that practically melted in my mouth. The tagine retained heat beautifully, keeping the dish warm and flavorful throughout the meal. What I loved most was how easy it was to prepare everything in one pot. The conical lid allowed the steam to circulate and infuse all the ingredients with incredible flavor. It felt like I was bringing a bit of Morocco into my kitchen. If you love slow-cooked meals that are packed with flavor, investing in a tagine is a must. It’s not just a cooking vessel; it’s a game changer. I can’t wait to try other recipes in it!. Kymm. US. I love this beautiful pot. It's the perfect size, smaller than an 8 qt pot but larger than a 5 qt dutch oven. It's study, but not so heavy like a cast iron pot. The interior finish is amazing. Nothing sticks to it. I love the soft mushroom color too. I wish however, that the pot were wider, rather than so deep like my old Calphalon pot that this is replacing.. Jean. Millbrae, CA. 3-LAYER ENAMEL COATING: Lava cast iron dutch oven has been coated with 3 layers of enamel with 3 stages of firing technique. Primer layer protects the product against corrosion, gives resistance to high temperatures and thermal shock, the 2nd layer enamel gives high scratch and wear resistance and creates a flavor layer, 3rd layer enamel makes a smooth, attractive surface that is easily cleaned and adds a perfect elegance in presentation. PROTECTIVE GLASS ENAMEL: The cooking surface of this cast iron pot is glass enamel. Since this enamel shows the properties of glass, it has a transparent color, so the inner surface preserves its original casting color. Glass is a natural and a non-toxic coating that will protect the surface and maintain it for longer periods of time. Not only it makes this cookware versatile and easy to use but also gives a smooth and shiny surface that is both easy to clean and requires no seasoning before use. HEAT RETENTION: This dutch oven capacity and it weighs with the lid. Its slow heat distribution and strong heat retention make it great for medium and low-heat cooking, from slow-cooking meats to roasting vegetables to boiling pasta, deep-frying, poaching, and almost any other cooking task you can think of. The smooth interior makes sure that everything inside is cooked evenly, and it releases food easily. It can be used on all kitchen stovetops (except the microwave), and it's oven safe to 500 degrees F. PRESERVES VITAMIN&AROMA: The special design lid offers a unique feature. Spikes on the Lava lids create a self-basting system, where the lid's spikes, flatness, weight and tight fit create a perfect environment for steam to rise, condense, and evenly drip back for more tenderness and flavor. This makes your food juicy, tender, and more flavorful. HOW TO CLEAN LAVA ENAMELED CAST IRON: Although Lava enameled cast iron is dishwasher safe, hand washing with warm soapy water and a nylon scrub brush is recommended to preserve the cookware's original appearance. Always dry cookware thoroughly and replace pot protectors between the rim and lid before storing in a cool, dry place. To remove stubborn baked-on food, boil 2 cups of water and 4 tablespoons of baking soda. Boil for a few minutes, then use a pan scraper to loosen the food
