These turned out beautifully but I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take to get them to this point. I struggled to get these to stain as dark as I wanted. I tried just staining them at first and then had to go back and sand them down to get them to stain darker. I'm obsessed with my new doors! Exactly as pictured. I love the texture and quality. You do have to assemble the doors, but it was easy with clear instructions. The only issues I had was with mounting the railing. My studs weren't 16 inches apart to meet up with the pre-drilled holes. These doors are heavy so you have to make sure you put the bolts in studs. I thought about a header board but that would've made a larger gap between the door and the wall. So I drilled new holes in the railing to place the bolts in studs (which wasn't as easy as I expected). The gap between the door and wall is about 3/4in without a header. This was a great find on Wayfair! We had several of these doors in Europe and I struggled to find them in the United States. We used Houdini hardware to hang them. I did add a small piece of poplar wood, which we will paint black to match the doors, in order for the hardware to fit onto the frame of the door, it was a small and easy modification. The doors are heavy and very well-made and the reeded glass offers the perfect amount of privacy while letting in light. Perfect for small spaces where a door swing would be a nuisance.
