This is a solid, sturdy door. It came well packaged and none of the glass was broken. There is just one windowpane which has separated from the body, so I'll have to see about using some wood glue to reattach that. Otherwise, the door is in fantastic shape. Our slab door with frosted glass has a traditional look with the stunning white finished but with a more modern design. To assist with the installation these doors are fully finished which will allow them to be hung as soon they arrive. Beautiful quality, but grab your router and chisel! I absolutely love this frosted glass door, but there is one major thing you need to know before buying: it arrives as a completely blank slab. There are no pre-cut holes for the doorknob and no mortises cut out for the hinges. Luckily, my husband is pretty handy, so he was able to measure, drill, and mortise everything. If you don't own the right tools (like a router or a door lock installation kit) or aren't comfortable prepping a raw door, you might want to hire a pro. That being said, the overall quality of the door is fantastic. It feels sturdy, the frosted glass offers great privacy while still letting light through, and it fits my French country decor flawlessly. If you’re in the market for a door, this is a great purchase. The quality is excellent. It’s made of real wood. It’s very heavy, but easy to put together. I have not hung mine yet because I’m gonna have a professional come and do it but note that this is just the door doesn’t come with any hardware nor pre-drilled holes for hanging either.
