Got these doors for my shoe closet and I couldn’t be happier. Very happy with this door. The Shaker style is simple and modern, and it fits perfectly with the rest of my home’s design. The primed surface was smooth and ready to paint, which made finishing it quick and easy. The door feels solid and well-constructed—not flimsy at all like some other interior doors. What a nice door and to think the customer support man helped me find it! All I can say is that it arrived quickly and is the perfect replacement for my old basement door which was letting the draft in during this past cold weather and it really was freezing here in Oklahoma! Very nice door. Well made. Easy to clean. Looks good too! Unfortunately I didn’t measure right and our doors are either bigger or smaller. So we can’t install it right now. Door is as stated in description so if that is what you need, this door will serve the purpose. The craftsmanship and quality of the door itself is fine. However, doors are shipped in plastic wrapping with cardboard on the ends so they are not well protected in the transit process. We did have one that arrived damaged and had to be replaced.. Chris. First, these doors are nice and solid. A little on the heavy side, so I am glad I wasnt installing these on my own. They are primed to a gloss so have to be sanded before painting, which is a little annoying, but it is what it is. They are not pre-hung, so you will not get any frame panels with them and as a result, the hinges dont sit recessed. When I read no hardware, I understood no hinges, handles, etc. which I was fine with as I had my own, but no frames would have been an issue if I didnt have the ones from the doors that didnt show up from the previous order that was cancelled (different vendor). They were delivered super quick which I appreciated and packed well. They did have some cosmetic issues that were from the factory (not FedEx), but not enough for me to go through the hassle to send them back. It was like each door had at least one nick in it! Sturdy door and nice quality - the weight of it makes it seem like a pricier door. It is solid but with the mdf outer- well let’s just say be careful your contractor doesn’t place it in a place with standing water. The good news is the swelling that occurs dries out but you have to let it sit for days. The other thing is the primer on it is super glossy and even after sanding isn’t the easiest to paint. I would have left it with the glossy white if not for the water damage that took the finish off the corners. Basically it’s a good door just take care in the install.. Renee. Orangeburg, NY.
