I am using this as a 'cup' to hold a large kitty litter box. My cats are large, and they tend to knock over the regular covered litter box, so I purchased this one to 'hold' the regular kitty litter box inside of it. This is a great litter pan. It’s very sturdy and waste material scoops out very easily. My only problem is that I bought it to fit inside the Mize litter box enclosure and checked the measurements carefully. The pan would have fit perfectly; however, there is a lip around the edge that made it just a smidge too large and the litter box enclosure would not close. The box itself is awesome! Stainless steel, so no more trapped odors and scratched up plastic bins. Front and top entries. Removable lid both partially and fully. Sturdy and high quality. Scooper included with a little groove on either side of the box to hang it on. Small litter trapper step that I don't think is beneficial for me because my cat BOLTS out of his box like he's being chased by a wolf! So I used a large litter mat (not that he actually walks out on it, but it might catch a tiny bit of litter while he's storming out lol) So far, my big guy showed no interest in actually using the box. He's a 14 lbs. domestic shorthair, but he's rather long. So the box might be a bit too small and tight for him. I am still hopeful he'd eventually put it to use because I absolutely love this box!.
