I opted to set this couch up with the L shape vs the U shape. The U shape isn’t coffee table friendly. The only thing I’ll say is the two square pieces that create the U shape they slide when you sit or lay across them. so you have to put a carpet under it to keep it in place Thats really the only negative I have to say. Very well-made velvet sofa. The fabric is really beautiful. You will notice that the back does come in two separate pieces as well as the base of the sofa. It does sit lower to the ground, but is very comfortable. I will use it with my Staging business and it will get a lot of use. Is on the heavier side. That can be a positive if you are using it for every day use. It is long and you could easily stretch out for a nice nap. Overall, I love the sofa. The only negative would be the separate pieces that come together to form the long sofa. I realize this is probably easier for shipping. But if placed against a wall, it is not noticeable.. Susan.
