I bought two of these barrel chairs for a side space in a bedroom. They were packed extremely well and assembly was limited to putting legs on the chair and ottoman. Both were considered to be sturdy and comfortable. The stitching appeared tight and the accents were solid. They are comfortable to sit in, but they are small so a larger person might want to consider that. One thing I didn’t expect was that the legs were plastic rather than wood, but they were also sturdy so it didn’t matter for our needs. Very good value for the price I paid.. Teresa. Princeton, MA. I shopped and shopped and read review after review on chairs like this. I wanted something for our office remodel that would be super comfortable and easy to sit and read a book in for hours. Wayfair has too many choices. I finally settled on this one due to good reviews and a major markdown for Way Day. However when it arrived (3 boxes over 2 days), and opened the instructions, it appears to be part of a sectional that they decided to sell in pieces. The cushions were “deflated” and shrink wrapped. Allegedly it takes 72 hours to fluff back up. I put it together by myself in about 35 minutes. A little challenging with the armrests getting the holes to line up to the base, so I sat the base on its side with an armrest underneath and that helped with the hole alignment. It’s the perfect color and I’m sitting in it as I type this review. There are 4 holes in the base that appear to be for legs, but I only received 8 legs and not 12.. Chris A.. US. Thu Oct 29 2026
