This was a great choice for replacing an old interior french door. The simple shaker design looks clean and modern without being too decorative, and it made the room feel noticeably more updated once installed. Even though it’s a hollow-core door, it actually feels heavier and sturdier than the old door we replaced. It still has the advantage of being easier to handle than a solid-core door, but it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. Once installed, it feels solid enough for everyday use and closes with a much more substantial feel than our previous door. The door arrived already assembled, so there was no panel assembly or complicated setup required. The primed surface was smooth and gave us a good base for painting, and the finished result looks much more expensive than I expected for the price. I also liked that the handle hole and hinge locations were not pre-cut. Since we were replacing an older door, being able to position everything exactly where our existing frame required made installation much easier. Overall, the size was accurate, the quality was better than expected, and the single-panel shaker style works really well with the rest of our home. For a pantry, closet, laundry room, or other interior space, this is a really nice upgrade. I would definitely buy another one for future remodeling projects.. Anonymous. Wed Oct 14 2026

Updating to edit- the doors were great out of the box, but once we got them hung, they started coming apart around the shaker trim/molding. We’ve tried using wood glue and clamps to secure it but it keeps pulling apart. We’re left with non-functioning doors. Doors look great! Just wish it would’ve come ready to install the hardware that was included.. Sara. Westminster, CO. Sun Aug 02 2026

On the surface this seems like a great deal: Big solid-core doors for less than $1,000 with hardware included. That isn’t a terrible deal at all, but the description of the product and the installation process is very misleading. It implies that this is basically just a disassembled pre-hung door frame that you simply have to reconnect and install, but there’s A LOT more work that needs to be done for it to actually function properly. The doors come without bore holes for the handles and locks and do not have cutouts for the hinges. The instructions (pictures included) are super simple and make it seem like you only need a few basic tools to get the job done. I would up having to buy a lot more tools to complete the project, because I needed to install things like the handles and the locks for the door to work, as I would assume most of us would. It’s also important to check your doors to make sure everything is decent quality. Mine had significant gaps around the glass plate trims that I had to fill and dents from shipping (pictures included). Customer service from the manufacturer is only kind of helpful. While they respond within one business day, they only offered to send me a touch-up kit vs. new doors since they said shipping damage didn’t impact the functionality of the pieces. I wasn't thrilled with this solution since it didn't address the poor packaging. Finally, make sure you’re getting what you ordered. The first time I purchased from this company I bought 10-lite clear glass doors and received one of those and one barn door. They didn’t have any more 10-lite doors in stock, so I had to return the entire order. Overall I’m ok with the finished product, but if I knew that it would take this much time and effort I probably would have spent more money to buy something that was easier to install. I would also recommend to the manufacturer to provide much more detailed instructions so people fully understand what they need to install the doors properly. If you’re an experience DIY-er and you like a challenge or you're planning on paying a professional to install, these doors are for you!. Jacob. Plainview, NY. Fri Aug 21 2026
