This headboard is absolutely beautiful! It was out of stock and we waited until it came back in stock because we knew it would be perfect for the space. And we were right. Gorgeous color, rustic barn door design and solid wood- how can you go wrong We’ve been very impressed with the quality of the things we’ve purchased from Wayfair. I’d buy this again in a heartbeat!. Inspired by Americana, the Hudson Valley Spindle Bed feels fresh and contemporary thanks to the contrast between its Dark Roast walnut finish and hand-turned spindles in Natural Maple. An exaggerated cap rail is cradled and supported by softened square posts, and the entire headboard displays a subtle bow.

I will definitely keep coming back to Perigold. They are reliable, accommodating and easy to work with. The price for this Stickley bed and nightstand was really good! Thank you!. Cheri. Camas Wa. Wed Nov 26 2025

Scalloped top headboard featuring horizontal planks paired with a low profile Scalloped footboard.

I was looking for a solid wood product that was made in America. Too many of the foreign products smell awful from outgassing. I was thrilled when I found this beautiful bed on Wayfair made by Vaughn Bassett in Virginia. The bed received was solid wood, had no outgas smell and was the size that I expected. My issue was with the finish on the headboard and football. The wood is pitted (I think they call it worm holes) which was not evident in the online photos. The front is also wire brushed so it is a bit more distressed looking then I was expecting. I would have kept the bed for those reasons, except that the top front right corner of the footboard had deep grooves that were brown wood color (not painted white inside) and made the top of the footboard look cracked. Since the product was received in 3 separate packages (headboard, rails and footboard), I asked Wayfair for just the footboard to be replaced. The manufacturer did not agree with replacing the footboard (saying this was just distressing) and as a result Wayfair agreed to a full refund. I'm disappointed that I have to search for another option, but feel that Wayfair did all they could do to try and resolve the issue and when they could not, I quickly received a full refund..
