Arrived super quick. Box was a little mangled but thankfully, the contents are well packed so no damage. It took two of us less than an hour to put it together and it looks nice. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed in the headboard and footboard (the inserts). Very deceiving description to call this bed ‘solid wood’ since 80 of the headboard and footboard are quite thin and flimsy (think thick cardboard). Only time will tell how they hold up.. Purchased driftwood beige - exactly as pictured and is indeed solid wood construction, but the finish covers the natural grain of the wood. It has a fake wood grain embossed in a thick, plastic-y finish, whereas I expected (and would have preferred) a pickled natural wood look. Regardless, its well made and well designed. Packaged very well with no damage to components. Assembly can be done solo, and I like the Japanese style joinery.. Anonymous. Mauldin, SC. Sun Sep 13 2026

The wingback headboard features vertical channel tufting for a tailored finish. Built-in drawers in the footboard offer convenient storage for extra bedding or seasonal clothing. Plus, integrated slats eliminate the need for a box spring.

I just love the low profile on this bed. We have a little dog and have to be thoughtful of how high our bed is and this one is perfect. Also, the convenience of having the drawers is really nice and the headboard is very soft.. Alisa. Bailey Island, ME. Sun Sep 06 2026

Bring natural warmth and thoughtful craftsmanship to your bedroom with this solid wood platform bed. Japanese joinery minimizes hardware for a simpler assembly process, while the reinforced frame and wood slats provide stable mattress support without a box spring. A 42.1" tall solid wood headboard creates a strong focal point and supports pillows for relaxed lounging. Natural wood grain complements both modern and traditional interiors, adding timeless character to the room. Cushioned slats help reduce noise for a quieter sleep environment, while 8.3 inches of underbed clearance offers practical space for storage and easier cleaning beneath the bed for greater everyday convenience.

Very happy with the bed. It’s good quality. It seems “chunkier” in the pictures than it actually is. But it is not poor quality or flimsy. It’s very nice looking.. Robert. Chicago, IL. Mon Oct 05 2026
