So much better-looking in person, which is the opposite of what I thought I’d say! This desk achieves a subtlety I didn’t expect for the price—the legs are dark grey, not black, and the surface is very light grey, not white. I figured the description was an attempt to market it well, but it was actually accurate. Been using it daily for 2 mos and am surprised by the durability. It's not shaky at all, and the surface shows no signs of wear. I haven't been folding the desk, so can't say whether that would impact my assessment. Also: this thing is totally sturdy, free of flaws, & came impeccably packed. Zero setup or tools. I wish the table edges were a little rounded, but I knew what I was getting into—price and portability were my main concerns.
