Beautiful desk! Very sturdy construction and hand crafted. Putting together was a breeze by adding each leg, which was numbered, to the corresponding numbered corner. It came shipped in two packages. The table top was nicely packaged and protected. The legs were all thrown in one package together, not wrapped. That would be my only complaint, is that they could have been packaged better for shipment. Otherwise, we love this desk and are looking at purchasing the coffee table and end table because we were so impressed with craftsmanship and quality with this piece!. Amanda. Hulbert, OK. Each piece of our handcrafted furniture was designed to showcase the naturalistic and weathered beauty of a reclaimed-looking work of art. Some of the characteristics you’ll find in every piece of our furniture include natural differences in color shading variations due to variables in the wood grain density, accentuated by hand-applied distressing. Season cracks and knots are markings that are natural responses, not manufacturing defects, and do not affect the strength and integrity of the individual piece. Our hand-crafted joinery and staining by our skilled artisans make each piece a unique work of art. This beautifully constructed, reclaimed lumber-looking writing desk has been built using time-honored traditions of old-world craftsmanship. We use solid hardwood with hand-forged metal iron legs and full-extension metal ball-bearing drawer glides for years of worry-free use.
