This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. A bit difficult to assemble. Some of the screws were not labeled so there had to be some reverse engineering by comparing the inventory sheet with the actual screw counts. But it worked out. This desk is an excellent value at this price point. Pressed wood, but looks realistic enough. It’s quite solid and well made. It does take quite a bit of time to put together but I wouldn’t say it was hard. The directions had a lot of detail and were simple to follow. I put it together mostly alone over two days (desk one day, hutch the next). My only complaint is the picture on Wayfair is misleading in color. It is not a true grey as I had hoped. Love it! Easy to assemble although it was missing four of the 30mm screws… got matching ones for 3 and was fine though. I was rotating the desk to get it in place and one of the legs came loose and caused a small crack in the wood on the side but other than that I love it! I absolutely love this desk. I love that I can put both size monitors on top and it frees up the bottom part. There’s lots of shelving space on the inside and also the three drawers provide a sufficient amount of storage. The only downside to all of this was the instructions and the number of pieces that came in the box to put this whole thing together. There were a couple of instances where some pieces weren’t lining up, so my husband had to do a little bit of adjusting, but nothing major. But the walnut color is beautiful and it looks elegant.
