While it doesn’t have many pieces to assemble, the bolts and nuts are a little tricky to align and tighten. The majority of our assembly time was trying to fit our fingers on the inside of furniture to tighten the bolts. It comes with a very strong smell - something like a cleaning spray and has a tackiness on the surface. With that being said, it’s super durable and feels like it will last forever. The color is pretty and it looks like great quality.. Grace. Holly Hill, FL. Tue Oct 20 2026

Slightly higher than most writing desks, so have a tall or adjustable chair nearby. Solid despite the stylish slender legs. This is a nice desk. But, as someone mentioned, the top coming in 2 pieces ink kinda unfortunate. Also, the top is NOT a full 1.5 inched think. The edges are, but about 2 inches in it's just .75 inches in the middle. That was the most disappointing. it does appear to be real wood vs particle board though. So if you're looking for a full slab top, be aware. I didn't see if spelled out in the description.. David. Phoenix, AZ. Thu Oct 15 2026
