I am very happy with this desk. I wanted something that wasn't too large but still offered shelves and storage for my parrots' toys and other supplies. The desktop is also large enough to hold my paper roll dispenser, which was important to me. The two drawers are surprisingly roomy and are perfect for storing smaller items like a tape measure, scissors etc. I also liked that you could choose between installing hooks or the fabric side pocket. I went with the pocket, but it's nice to have the option. Assembly was straight forward, and all of the hardware bags and parts were clearly labeled, making the process easy to follow. While it's marketed as a desk, it's versatile enough for many other uses. As you can see, it works great as a parrot station with plenty of storage while still maintaining a small footprint. Just beautiful, has every thing my granddaughter wanted for her first year in college. The lights are great, the electric plugs are just in the right place. She just loves this and had it already set up before I even had a chance to get my pictures. She says this is a wonderful desk and is so happy we chose it.
