Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. This desk is even better than I expected! It’s very sturdy and feels like hard wood (not a scrap of veneer in sight!) and is a perfect little writing desk. It’s going in our guest room so it’ll get light use but it’s definitely up to the challenge for daily use. The wood is similar in tone and texture to butcher block but adds good warmth to the room. This desk is stunning. It was so easy to put together. The desktop came with the drawers built and installed and all we had to do was screw on the legs.
