This dining set is an attractive choice for any outdoor setting. The set can be finished with a quality penetrating the exterior finish, or left alone to weather to a silvery gray color. Many or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. I went with acacia wood patio furniture because I prefer a natural finish and the pieces to be sturdy with some weight to them. This set fit those parameters well. They blend nicely with the pool deck on my 1962 mid century modern home. My only negative comment would be the back angles on the chairs are just a tad too upright. Design and assembly were fine. Wood was good quality, but one of the table legs arrived broken. I contacted Wayfair and they are sending a replacement. Good value for the money, although I would caution folks that the chairs will not accommodate larger frames - the arms are close in and I think couple of our larger friends will not find them comfortable. It is a very nice set. Not too lightweight, not too heavy to move around. Chairs are comfortable. Assembly: intermediate to advanced. Not sure what people who aren't mechanically inclined do to get this one together. All parts were there except 2 steel washers.
