I went with acacia wood patio furniture because I prefer a natural finish and the pieces to be sturdy with some weight to them. This set fit those parameters well. They blend nicely with the pool deck on my 1962 mid century modern home. My only negative comment would be the back angles on the chairs are just a tad too upright. Whatever the event, spend quality time with the family, gathering them around this Wooden Picnic Table with attached benches. The legs are made of 100% northern white cedar logs, with a pine bench and tabletop. The wood is naturally resistant to rot and insect damage. The table can be finished with a quality penetrating oil, or left to weather to a silvery gray color. Many, or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.
