This table is extraordinary. It is so well put together and the furniture pieces are very strong and sturdy. The instructions are easy to follow unlike a lot of product instructions nowadays. It is recommended to apply outdoor wood wax oil, varnish or preservative wood oil every 3–6 months. This sentence is located at the very bottom of several feature paragraphs. The reason I looked back at my order is because there are white cloudy spots all over my table and chairs and I am going to have to try and remove them. Apparently you remove them with an iron and towel and try to get the moisture out of those white areas by drying them out with the iron. For the company, oiling the table shouldn't be the last thing mentioned. I would think close to the top of the features section would be a good spot. While this table and chair set is beautiful and appears to be well made, I was very disappointed that the advertised seating capacity is not realistic. The listing shows eight chairs fitting comfortably around the 60-inch table, but in reality all eight chairs cannot be pushed in at the same time without overlapping and leaving very little room between them. We measured the table to confirm it is the advertised 60 inches, so the issue is with how the product is represented in the listing. I still like the overall look and quality of the set, but I purchased it specifically because it was marketed as an 8-person dining set. In my opinion, it functions much more comfortably as a 6-person table, with two extra chairs that can be stored or placed in a different location from around the table. I really like these chairs. They’re pretty lightweight very and easy to assemble. I’m 5’ foot and my husband is 6’1” and it fits both of us pretty well. My only complaint is that the pillow for your back is a little bit under stuffed.
