Im pretty satisfied with this purchase! The assembly was easy enough, I did it all myself in a couple of hours, despite being a 5 woman with very limited experience building things. Though, I did put the tabletop on upside down my first try. (There is a graphic in the instructions warning against this, but its a little unclear what it means. Basically you want the square so that the screw holes are closest to the ground, leaving room above them for the glass.) There were only two flaws I noticed almost every metal piece seemed to have small metal filings trapped inside. Especially the sides of the chairs, which appeared to have broken-off pieces of the large staples that hold on the rubber strip on the bottom of the legs. This seems like it could be very dangerous if your household has children or pets! Since mine doesnt, it was simply an annoyance. I did my best to remove them using a small fridge magnet to cover the holes and shake the small pieces over it. Eventually I had to give in and just leave some of them in there though and of course the function of the furniture is not effect either way. The other flaw was that the paint on one of the chair legs seemed to have been scraped and then touched up, leaving an obvious difference in texture. Again, annoying, but not really something anyone will notice when actually using the chair. Overall, I feel the set was a good value, and seems quite functional and comfortable! The table is beautiful, and chairs very comfortable, but the umbrella hole is unpractical: the lower part of the table is too low, and its hole too narrow, to fit any umbrella base. We got the brown rattan and red cushions, and I have to say, it looks GOOD! We're very happy! It's all very comfortable too. A few notes... The cushion fabric is nice, and the color is red but not too bright. The cushions are definitely comfortable. The seating is solid and not "crunchy" sounding like you hear with some rattan/wicker seats. I have no idea how the cushion color and rattan will stand up to the brutal California sun, but I bought some UV spray to hopefully give it a little extra protection (it says it's already UV resistant). I also have a cantilevered umbrella coming in, so that should help protect it too. Make sure you like the table measurements, because it's not big. Four people could eat at it no problem; six (one on each end) people would have to be okay being cozy. Worth noting the top surface of the table is nice. The stools that come with it are a bit smaller than I expected, but definitely usable. SHIPPING & ASSEMBLY NOTES: It ships in four boxes and mine arrived separately over two days, which screws up the FedEx tracking since it can't seem to distinguish between the four boxes; after my first showed up they all got marked as delivered. The screws! They are all in one bag in one of the boxes (so no assembling until you get that box). Make a note(!) that while all the screws look the same, there are actually three very similar sizes that are hard to distinguish. The smaller ones (8 of them?) are for the table, so pull them out of the mix before you get started or you may have backtrack a bit like I did. That's it! To repeat, no regrets here!
