Assembly was easy, although some of the holes for the screws to attach the legs to the table were loose and one of the fitted plastic pieces on the feet of the table wasn't seated properly and had to be adjusted by hand. These are cute and no assembly required. They will NOT take a lot of abuse. I weigh 220 pounds and sit in the chairs and they support me but they were not made to have someone my size bounce around on them. If you just want nice looking wooden chairs and a little table to put in a small space these work very well, but again I say that they are not heavy duty so if that is what you need you might want to look elsewhere..
