Directions were easy and clear, all parts labeled nearly, says it takes two people to assemble, but I did it myself in an hour. 'Lots of screws all put in with the provided Alan wrench which got a bit tiring, but not terrible. I might suggest a rubber mallet as helpful, but not critical. They look beautiful and are comfortable I made my husband model to show height. He is 5'9". Now to repaint the deck to look as nice as the chairs! First purchase with Wayfair and very happy.. Laurel. Attractive and sturdy when finally assembled. Though assembly process was reasonably clear, it was quite tedious.
